“I don’t get any email back notifying me that I’ve been registered” – such functionality is not supported.

“I don’t get any notification saying that I have a new subscriber.” – you must make sure that your WordPress server allows sending e-mails to that address what you used for notifications, and that registration e-mail is not ended up into spam folder. If you leave e-mail field empty, then it also doesn’t work.

    Hi

To use scroll triggered box for Mailchimp submissions you must use take into use some third party Mailchimp WP plugin. That 3rd party Mailchimp plugin must provide it’s functionality (basically a submission form) to scroll triggered box either in form of shortcode or widget (scroll triggered box can be used as one of the Widget areas starting from version 2.1.1).

I have tested several promising WP Mailchimp plugins what offer submission form shortcode, but that was already a while ago. So much I remember that not all of them are suitable, and each one had it’s pro’s and con’s. I can review them and create some suggestions, but it takes up to few days.

Important is to notice that when using 3rd party forms inside scroll triggered box, “receiver email” field in that scroll box settings must be empty.

Starting from version 2.1.2, MailChimp own code will also work correctly.
