Doesn’t send emails

Any other part of my site is capable of sending emails, but this plug-in, where it really counts, cannot. I hope this gets fixed so I can give 5*, because as it is now, it is completely useless. At least my test email to usergroup admin never arrived. I tried both SMTP and sendmail.
