Doesn’t show product with attribute unless 1st Variation has stock

I have scratching my head trying to find out why when I create my attributes and have variations made on product page, have manage stock checked on all variations and then I make a filter for Color and add filter to side bar. All colors show up on side bar, now when I click on a color will filter and show shirts with that color, ONLY if you have the first variation showing to have stock. With 0 stock for first variation and others have stock still doesn’t show the shirt with that color.

Once I go in and add 1 in stock to first variation then it works. I am working offline using local server while building and testing. I tried using shortcode in elementor and does the same thing.

Another question is wanting to know if you have 2 filters, like color and size and have all attributes set in product page etc why when click on color that the size doesn’t change to show only sizes for that color. Not sure if this is only in Premium version or not.
