    Hi Sambeleleny,

The sample email you used was aname at gtmail .com

The domain gtmail.com isn’t a popular email provider like Gmail or Yahoo. So Mailgun simply checks if the domain is valid and has a mail server running.

If you try using aname at gmail .com it’ll show an error.

I thought that the plugin could locked the wrong email do you know?. I wrote “gtmail” to test it, but I think that it doesn`t work as I imagined.

Actually that is how the Mailgun validation service works.

    https://documentation.mailgun.com/api-email-validation.html

The domain “gtmail.com” really exists so it validates.

Try aname at g-mail.com it will show you an error.
