  • Thanks Mike. I just filled in your form. Do I wait now for the files you mention above ?
Will happily make a donation once all is working !

    guess what? it works!:)

i accidentally loaded the secureimage.php in the wrong spot at first, which gave me capcha errors, so i deleted the old file and moved the new one and all is well.

hope this helps a lot of folks.

also, when i purposely left out a field and tried to send, it gave me a proper error message. looks like we got it resolved.

thanks a lot for your help, mike.

one final post. the only problem i found was that after it sent, it gave a “redirecting” message and although it did eventually redirect back to my home page, it took a good while.

thats just for what its worth. let me know if there is anything else i can do as far as testing.

    thanks again….

I have much the same issue. The form suddenly stopped working.

I can send a test email, but using the form goes nowhere … no redirect, no thanks for the message, nothing … well, I do get a new CAPTCHA.

Had that PHP Sessions Broken error on another site yesterday and got that taken care of by the host, but there’s no error message this time around.

Oh, I’m using 3.1.7.3 and WordPress is 3.5.1

Worth a try. What do you need?

Ah, I see where you have noted the Support Form. I’ll give that a try.

I’m getting the same result when I use your Support Form, so I’ll assume the form is not sending.

On the other hand, if I go to another of my WordPress sites, where the Form has not been updated (3.1.7.2) all is well.

Looks like I’ll be unable to test your new version since I, apparently, cannot provide my email through the form at your site.

Can I download that earlier version?

    Francis,

    I fixed my form, thanks

I was able to gather information from the current testers. I am working on the next version.

a manual / auto reinstall should fix your one broken site

    Manual Un-install:
FTP to the server and delete this folder: /si-contact-form/
the folder is found in /wp-content/plugins/
When the plugin folder is deleted, the forms and settings are still saved in the database.
DO NOT delete from the plugins admin page or your forms are deleted!

    Auto Install:
On the plugins admin page, click “Add New”, search plugins for Fast Secure Contact Form
When you see it in the search results, click “Install”. The plugin will be automatically downloaded, installed and activated.

Thanks. I’ll try that in the next hour and let you know how I make out.

Hello Mike. Tried that fix. Alas, the same result.

I’ll wait for your update and try that or, if I can find a previous version that I’ve downloaded, I’ll reinstall the old one.

    Great plugin. Good work.

    A tad more information.

Tried rolling back by replacing that si-contact-form folder with an older version. No luck.

Deactivated the plugin. Loaded Contact Form 7. Sent mail no problem.

I have no idea what’s going on .. think I’ll pack it in for the day.

Mike, I did as you said and tried your unreleased version and it works perfectly – thanks ! I am not signed up to paypal – is there another way I can make a donation ? Thanks again, Jay
