To solve this problem try the following:

    1. Open the article editor and update/save the article again. This should help.
    2. Else: Remove everything after the “v” parameter in your Youtube url. For example, shorten https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJNR2EpS0jw&feature=player_embedded to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJNR2EpS0jw and save again.
    3. Else: Report me your bug!

Does this work? Please tell me!

    Regards,

    Kevin

    Hi,
    thanks for your post!

I tested those two plugins you’ve mentioned.
I think your “Youtube embed plus” plugin causes the error. Do you really need this plugin?
Give it a try: Deactivate your Youtube plugin and see if “Lazy Load for Videos” works correctly (you may have to do the steps from my previous reply again).

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Kevin

I thought it should be able to work all together. That Youtube embed plus just changes youtube player to white color and its still flash.
And i tested with deactivating one by one both others and reloading and clearing cache- still lazy load for youtube doesnt work.
I tried deactivating also that and activating and still not. See – removed all plugins for youtube and still not working.

    Hmm…
Have you saved your article again while all plugins are deactivated?
If so – sorry for that, I can’t help you :-/

then making new private post and 2 yt videos in it.
Publicized and still just flash not thumbnails showing up.

I can only suggest you to deactivate all your plugins but Lazy Load for Videos.
When it then not works correctly – I can’t help you for now. Sorry.

    OMG. Its impossible.
So it has some logic that YouTube plugin messes with it. https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/
And its sad but i would like to that plugin to work with this plugin couse that plugin can make YouTube player white.
    BUT
    Also

After activating Jetpack again back and AUTHORIZING IT… Lazy load for youtube stops working……

    (@kangarooo)

Ok i found problem by reading about jetpack plugins..
This needs to be fixed couse that plugin is good for many things. So need to make that both work together..

    In Jetpack disabling Shortcode Embeds

Easily embed videos and more from sites like YouTube, Vimeo, and SlideShare.

    Shortcode Embeds

Shortcodes allow you to easily and safely embed media from other places in your site. With just one simple code, you can tell WordPress to embed YouTube, Flickr, and other media.

Enter a shortcode directly into the Post/Page editor to embed media. For specific instructions follow the links below.

Available shortcodes are: [archives], [audio], [blip.tv], [dailymotion], [flickr], [scribd], [slideshare], [soundcloud], [vimeo], [youtube], [polldaddy], un [wpvideo (VideoPress)].

Here more precize info what good stuff that plugin gives so it needs to work too-

    1. Jeah, you’re right. You have to disable the “Shortcode Embeds” part from Jetpack and Lazy Load for Videos should work correctly.
You can really disable the “Shortcode Embeds” extension because you don’t really need the [shortcodes]. Why? Because you can simply paste URLs from several sites without using [brackets] – see https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Embeds

    2. To change the colour of your Youtube player, you can manually change the URLs in your posts from
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJNR2EpS0jw
    to
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJNR2EpS0jw&theme=light
and you should get a white player. That works together with Lazy Load for Videos.
