I’ve set everything to not autoupdate like this: https://pasteboard.co/46TH95GmWNOv.png

But I’ve just recived an email from the plugin saying it automatically updated a plugin.

    Have I set something wrong?

As far as I can tell with these settings nothing but WordPress minor releases should be updated automatically.

Also does this plugin run on the front end at all? Or impact site performance?

    Cheers

  • Hi @netgremlin

Does this happen to all plugins installed on your site? If not, could you let us know what plugin got updated at the time you set the settings to not auto-update?, Also, if there’s a log entry for that plugin in the Update Logs, could you please look at the Show Notes and Stacktrace columns, then copy and paste the information here?, it’d be good if you could also provide us screenshot the email you received.

This plugin does load some libraries on the front end, but it’s related to logging functionalities. If you enable and use internal WP-Cron for checking and running automated update scheduled events, you might notice that scheduled events are checked on every page load, and any events due to run will be called during that page load.

    Thanks
    Anthon
