Doesn't work

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience. However, I do wish you would have submitted a support request before posting a negative review.

I put together a Troubleshooting Guide and FAQ’s for users to check when they have issues. There is also Support Request Form for you to contact us if those don’t work.

The plugin definitely works. The only time I have heard complaint like this is regarding registration spam, when users haven’t read the plugin documentation fully. It clearly states that it stops registration spam for the WordPress registration page only, not for third party plugins like BuddyPress, etc. I’m willing to bet that you’re using one of these.

Please re-read the documentation and consider updating this review.

I can vouch for what the Plugin Author says here. I submitted a request and was contacted within the hour. If you read the rules of the forums, you would know that by not giving him a chance and then giving him a low mark is extremely unfair and wrong. Bad form on your part.

Hello. I’m currently looking for ways to stop BuddyPress registration spam, and came across this plugin – which says it has BuddyPress registration form support in the description.
However, now I’m seeing the reply above from the plugin’s author (only 4 weeks ago from this writing), that says it does NOT stop registration spam for BuddyPress.
So which is it?
I suppose BuddyPress support could have been added in the brief month since then, but I would also think the developer would have mentioned it was coming too…

I suppose that might be confusing. At the time this was posted, the plugin did not support BuddyPress. BuddyPress registration protection was added after this. Please see the changelog for more detailed information on what’s been added to the plugin and when.
