In Dashboard -> Settings -> Related Posts, tabs doesn’t work. I cannot click “Form”, “Content”, … tabs anymore.

And also in block editor, when choosing the post to be related, I cannot anymore search the right one by typing post name. Just only choosing from the list. This is bad as I’ve around 2,500 posts and finding the right one just by scrolling the list is impossible.

    Hi,
It works for me. What is probably happening is that there are JavaScript errors on your dashboard after the WP 5.5 update. There have been changes under the hood.

Can you go to one of the affected dashboard pages? Then right-click with the mouse, choose “Inspect Element” and select the Console-tab. You should see JavaScript errors now.
If you want, you could paste them here, but be carefull that you don’t paste privacy related information.

    Dear Marcel,

Inspecting JavaScript errors with console-tab didn’t reveal anything useful. So I disabled all other plugins expect Related Posts plugin. It worked!

So I activated other plugins one-by-one and it revealed that “Real Media Library” plugin v4.8.6 was the root cause of problems. Fortunately there is an update to v4.9.1 which fixes this problem with the Related Posts plugin. ??

Sorry about inconvience about my fault not to upgrading all other plugins before babbling.

Thanks very much for this plugin!

BTW, I’ve customised it a little, I added third list option to it. I just copied the related-du.php to related-tu.php, like “Tripled Up” and I did necessary adjustments to related.php + related-tu.php. ??

    Okay, good.
I get more reports with JavaScript problems since WP 5.5. It might have to do with the jQuery changes where jQuery Migrate was disabled now..

Ehm, okay ?? I don’t think I want a third list in the main plugin :). If it works for you I guess it is fine. Please be aware that with an update, the files will be overwritten.
