    This is because someone found a security hole in the multiple file upload feature. The hole has been closed with the most recent version. As a precaution, I have reset everyone’s access to Dropbox which in turn kicked everyone out and requires that everyone reset their settings and reauthorize with Dropbox. Any version before 1.8.8.2 has been rendered useless unless you edit the code manually and replace the Dropbox API keys (which I don’t suggest).

    Versions Affected:
    1.8.6
    1.8.8

    Sorry for the inconvenience!

    yes I know how to upload files via FTP to my Linux server where the WordPress files are stored. I have no idea what they are, or what they do.

    Thats all you need ??

    If you are on Windows, Hold down the windows key on your keyboard and press the letter R. When the box pops up, type notepad. In notepad copy and paste the following

    <?php
    phpinfo();
    ?>

    Click File then click save. In the save dialog where you would enter the file name, Enter (With Quotes) “phpinfo.php”

    Now upload that to where your wordpress files are. If your not sure if you are in the right place, look for a file named wp-config.php and if its there then your in the right place.

    OK I think I have done this. I am emailing you the link now.

    In case anyone else comes across this, or it is of use to anyone… I found the issue to be a conflict with “WordPress Backup to Dropbox”. Not really a pair of plugins I want to have to decide between.
