    Hi there!

Since I’ve updated to v4.5 I get a white site. Anybody else with this problem? Are there any solutions?

I have the same problem. My admin dashboard wouldn’t load after upgrading to 4.5 from the previous version. I had to delete the plugin via FTP and and then upload version 4.4.1 via FTP, go into the dashboard and activate it. It is working now (data is all there), but I can’t upgrade to any version after 4.4.1 or I get the same dashboard problem or php errors.

After I’ve installed this plugin I just got this message “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”, and I can’t load admin panel, even after i renamed plugin folder through FTP. Please help me.

    Hi there,

the first thing you may want to do is to check your web server error log for clues. Then make sure you have at least PHP version 5.5 if you’re using the Browscap Library. If you don’t have PHP 5.5, go to wp-content/uploads/wp-slimstat/ and delete the entire browscap-db folder. If this doesn’t take care of the white screen of death, then renaming the wp-slimstat folder under wp-content/plugins/ should. But again, the first step is crucial to understand what is happening. I suspect an issue with your PHP memory limit. Let’s see if I’m wrong.

    Best,
    Jason

    the problem is:
1)My cpanel error log doesn’t show any errors related to this domain.
2)When I rename the plugin folder nothing happens, but when I rename theme folder then I got the white screen of death on my front page.

@letsik, you cannot rename the theme folder just like that. Unlike plugins, active themes will definitely cause the WSOD if WordPress cannot find them. Just to clarify, if the theme is there, what is the error that you see on your screen with Slimstat enabled?

    Marking as resolved.

    Hi Jason,

I have the same issue: white screen, no more than that -> no errors are displayed. Memory limit can be an issue but that I can’t change: it comes with the hosting account. (at One.com).

I think closing the ticket is not solving the problems.. Switching to another plugin is not either because the stats are gone.

Can I test or do something to help?

    Best regards,
    Teo

    Helps nothing => white screen!!
    I’ve turned back to 4.4.1.

@wordpresspit have you checked your web server error log? Any clues there?

    Jason

@jason: I uploaded the previous version from backup so I had to re-install the update again for a test. I don’t know if you solved anything under the same version number but this time the site stays up and running. From the side effects like the time the site seems to have been offline, I would not say it is cache related.

Thanks anyway. But I would keep this thread open, I suppose there will be more complaints..
