There wasn’t enough information in the description to clearly explain that this plugin only calculates the shipping by charging the full cost on each item in the order. It seems to be intended for shops that only sell 1 item, per customer.

Here’s why: If you sell a “thing” that costs $10 to ship UPS, and somebody orders 5 of those “things”, their shipping rate will be $50 (5 * $10), not the weight incremented rate that UPS would actually charge that is more than like MUCH less than what the plugin will tell your customers. Simply stated, it doesn’t calculate accurate shipping for more than 1 item.

The irritation I have over the 2 1/2 days I wasted on this is my own fault for not digging deeper into the forums before trying to use it.

** FYI This review is regarding the “free” plugin. If you upgrade to Pro, the problem goes away.

    Hi @macdoodle,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

However, the Free version of the plugin is well suited for small business owners or when you have a few products in your inventory as it pack every items individually.

The plus version of the plugin comes with parcel packing option that allow you to pack multiple items together in a single package and the weight and dimension of that package is passed to the UPS API for the rate calculation.

Do let us know if we can do anything from our side to improve your experience.
