Doesn't work, links went crazy

Hello and thanks so far work offering this extensive plugin!

I agree, my topic is not very descriptive, but all in all the plugin doesn’t work as it should be and I don’t have any clue what is going wrong.

So, there is this French page of a friend that we just migrate to the new version of WP: https://www.floresdevida.org (Before it was just a collection of html pages.) The theme is a child of the twenty fifteen with just a few changes.

I installed the ceceppa multilingua plugin, made the settings that seem okay for the page and added translation in English and Spanish by using the tabs in the editor. Everything looked fine, very easy and comfortable to work with. But on the front end, it doesn’t work. The translated sites don’t come up, the links behind the flags look weird, something like https://www.floresdevida.org/?lang=fr#038;lang=es or they lead to other pages or archives.

I changed now several times the settings for permalinks and the handling of your plugin and I don’t know how much that effects the existing pages and posts.

When I edit for example the page https://www.floresdevida.org/accueil/, I see https://www.floresdevida.org/home/ as a link for the English page and https://www.floresdevida.org/?page_id=190 for the Spanish one. And I am wondering why the two slider “Publish translations” in the Publish widget of the editor are everytime deactivated when I’m opening the editor. And also the “Show flags” setting doesn’t look like having an effect. I changed the default later, so that the flags won’t be shown on pages and post, but I have to set this to never in each manually.

And if I leave now the page editor I get to the overview of the posts.

I just created a page named Test1 with the English name Test2 and Spanish name Test3: https://www.floresdevida.org/test1/ The changing to the other by using the flags in the widget doesn’t work, does it?

Hope I can make myself clear and allow you to see what I have done wrong?

The idea is to only have the flags in the widget and every page and post and category in three languages. I prefer the permalink setting “Post name” and would like to give every post, page and category a name depending on the language.
