Even the basic the_field() doesn’t work anymore, and there’s no support to help.

    Hi there,

I can understand why support is a bit slow. As it is managed by volunteers, it can’t be guaranteed that it will be provided or offered. This applies to all plugins here on www.ads-software.com.

Some folks are trying to catch up with a higher pile of tasks right now, so I really appreciate your patience.

For the_field(), it should work exactly in the same way as you had before, considering that this part of the code hasn’t changed significantly yet for the new plugin.

I am using it in exactly the same way that I have for many years, and now even the simplest use no longer works. I am being forced to delete the plugin that I have loved for a long time to find another solution. This is a huge inconvenience, hence the low rating.

I see, if you could check what is not working when you tried to use the_field() and the steps you took, I’m happy to take a look.

It generally should work perfectly. Alternatively, you can install the previous plugin called ACF directly on their website (in case you don’t want to use the new SCF plugin).
