• Theme looks good on desktop, thankyou…. but it doesn’t work on my iPhone 4 [with iOS version 7.1.2 (11D257), which is I believe the latest version that runs on iPhone 4].

When I view any site using Twenty Seventeen on iPhone 4, I get the URL at the top of the window (eg 2017.wordpress.net), and then a very large version of the homepage header image…but no menu or pages/posts displayed, nor is the window scrollable to get to the content.

    Anyone else having this problem?

  • Just to echo this, my site looks fine on my iPhone 6 but it doesn’t look fine when demoing mobile devices in Chrome’s inspect element (it resizes to have horizontal scroll).

The demo site is working for me on a Chrome iPhone 4 emulator, but the browser engines are not exactly the same.

Could be something to do with fixed position elements (header image and/or video), which are notoriously buggy in Safari for iPhone.

It’s one of those irritating things….the browser’s implementation of the standard…is the standard.

Yep. Doesn’t work at all on iphone 4 running the most up to date iOS it can. Just shows zoomed in photo.
