  • All of the contact forms using this plugin are returning a message when anyone hits submit, “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

I have tried downloading a few plugins that other people have said fix the problem such as
    HGK SMTP and WP-Mail-SMTP
    neither have worked.

Please see the link below to see problem yourself…

The plugin is working for me on many different websites and several different servers. Any issue you have is almost certainly due to something on your local WP install.

See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

I’m having the same issue on all my sites that have updated to WP 4.0 – it was working just fine until the update. I’ve tried updating the plug-in, but it’s already on the most recent version.

Nothing else changed; the update to WP 4.0 is the only variable in play.

    Hi,
I’m using Contact Form 7 within X theme. I updated to WP 4.0 and when active CF7 is not playing well. X uses Visual Composer and when all active you can’t see the media library in the new grid format. Also any pages with Visual Composer content do not load in the admin. If you turn off VC the pages load. If you turn off CF7 all issues resolve.
I have no idea why or what is conflicting but its not working thats for sure!
Hope this gives someone some clues to what is going on.
    Cheers
    David
