Doesn't work properly

and that shows a tick box and the text “Sign Me Up For News” but i dont know how to auto tick box so users have to opt out or assign to a specific list.. Im not even sure what list that would sign to. I dont have the knowledge to do the troubleshooting for the plugin creator, the infomation I have should be enough to make an update soon. until then 1/5 stars
