Doesn’t work to import a csv of products

Sorry, wrong of me – it did work, but no progress showed in the progress-bar and it took a lot of time..

I will look for which plugin is causing this

Strangely it didn’t import all, and weren’t marked as completed no matter how long I waited. It was 22 products in the csv. I took the last 4 that were missing and made a new csv with just them. I tried to import and then those 4 were imported without any hesitation, in matter of seconds.

Could it be that Woocommerce doesn’t like many products in an import file?

This is so strange…
I deactivated all plugins.
Activated all of them – didn’t work
I started deactivating them in groups 5 by 5. After 15 it started working.
I started activating them 2 by 2. It worked everytime to import now.
Now I have all plugins activated and it works…

How is that possible?

The whole site and wp seems much faster now too

That is really strange…it could have something to do with your site’s processing speed and some of the plugins. Do you have any fatal errors recorded in WooCommerce > Status > Logs?

Now it didn’t work again with 24 products, it wasn’t completed and when I ended it myself it had only imported 6 products.

I tried only 4 products. No problem

Thanks for checking that. It looks like these fatal errors are all coming from the third-party plugin you’re using for importing (looks like it’s called Ultimate CSV Importer). You will probably need to reach out to them for assistance with this directly.

Alternatively, you can use the built-in product CSV importer that’s included with WooCommerce core. We have documentation on that here.

I tried again with the 24 products. now 4+6 were imported from earlier. It didn’t complete and only imported 2 new products out of the 14 left.

at November 29th I tried to use that one, but since then it hasn’t been used. I use the Woocommerce integrated importer under products.

I have deleted that plugin now.

Now it imported 3 more products and filled in a little on the progress bar but no more

I can get it to import all products, but it only imports 3-5 per time and only completes when there’s only a few left not imported already from the csv
