• This plugin provides direct access protection to the media files but disturbs WooCommerce’s payment plugins, such as “Payment plugin for Stripe” or “WooCommerce PayPal payment.” When you choose a payment method that causes page rewriting by JavaScript, it results in a 500 error behind the loading icon(you can see it happens from the developer tool, but ordinary customers aren’t aware of it). Their paid extension seems to offer WooCommerce integration, but the plugin doesn’t provide users with this significant information.

    Hi @takioh,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We understand the importance of seamless WooCommerce functionality, especially with payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal. Many of our customers use our plugin with WooCommerce without any issues, so this may be a conflict specific to your setup. While the PDA WooCommerce extension enhances certain features—offering stronger protection for your files against sharing—our plugin can still be used with WooCommerce without requiring the extension.

The 500 error you mentioned, particularly when page rewriting occurs, isn’t expected behavior, and we’d like to investigate this further if you’re open to letting us assist. We also value your feedback regarding the WooCommerce integration in our paid extension, and we’ll work on making that information clearer for users.

Please reach out to our support team so we can help diagnose and resolve the issue.

Your input is invaluable, and we’re here to assist you!
