Doesn’t work with Buddyboss

  • Since v3.9 ou v4, the plugin is useless with BudyBoss : nothing is sent, nothing is stored in the waiting list…

    It’s a shame, it was very helpful. Hope developers will have the time to work on it!

    Sorry to hear that you’ve had problems with the plugin.

    BPGES is a free tool that’s developed for use with BuddyPress. BuddyBoss is a commercial platform that promises support for BP tools. As such, the BPGES development team doesn’t make an active effort to be compatible with BuddyBoss.

    If you’re having problems with BuddyBoss compatibility, I’d recommend reaching out to their team, whom you probably pay for support.

    You’re right, this plugin doesn’t sell itself as ”BuddyBoss compatible”. The good news for BuddyBoss users is that they are building this feature natively (should be released in few weeks).

    Sadly, what Buddyboss released doesn’t have digest emails and can kill site engagement.

    @boonebgorges, I have a group of Buddyboss site owners who need this. Can we provide you with some compensation to get this working with Buddyboss? It’s badly needed.

    Hi Boone, thanks for responding. Buddyboss just announced in their Facebook group on Friday that they’re going to begin scoping an integrated email digest for their platform (in June). So I guess it makes sense to just wait for that. I did a test install of this plugin though and you did a great job. Keeping your website handy.
