• Anyone else have luck with getting this awesome plugin to work with Divi theme?

I’ve used Simple CSS with success on other themes before, it’s part of my must-have plugin toolkit. However when trying to use it with Divi, it doesn’t work. It’s like something in the Divi theme overrides it and doesn’t allow it to work.

If I put CSS in the Divi Theme options, the CSS will work just fine. If I drop it in the Simple CSS on any given page, the CSS won’t work at all (even with !important).

Anyone else using Divi run into this same problem? Can anyone shed light onto why this is? I’m genuinely curious, would love to be able to use this awesome plugin again, miss having page-level CSS capabilities.

  • Hi, I have a them too and I want to change the sidebar color. It’s not working ??

Hi, Have you tried to work with an active divi’s child theme? I’ve just test it and for the moment it’s working fine… custom main menu, side bar menu, hover, and much more ??

    Thanks for the response guys.

I’m using a child theme with Divi (thanks Divi Cake!), still having the problem.

I appreciate your feedback though AndrexJV, at least this tells me that Simple CSS *can* work with Divi and I must have a configuration issue of some sort.

I’m staying subscribed to this thread. If anyone else comes across this in the future and can replicate or not replicate this problem, please do post here and let us know what you tried or did not try to achieve your result. I will do the same and keep everyone posted.

I still absolutely LOVE Simple CSS, great plugin. Just wish I could get it to work with Divi!
