Doesn’t work with most theme sidebar

I’ve tried some of our favorite themes like GeneratePress and Foreverwood and no matter what we use, outside the default wordpress themes, they ALL shove the sidebar down. So I tried this:

Which suggests emoving the get shortcode for sidebar and uploading to the main theme folder. It is STILL ignoring the no sidebar request, as if its defaulting to the plugin version.

This is one of the only ones we’ve found that don’t demand you to actually be a pro realtor with MLRS to make a listing.

Is there some additional code I need to remove or something? We don’t WANT to use the default wordpress themes.
