• On initial install with a WooTheme (Canvas), this plug-in included itself in every thumbnail, featured image, etc all over the site, even when set to just posts. I had to pay a professional to make some changes within the code to get it to function properly. Now that the new update is out, it no longer works in Safari properly. The pin-it button actually shows up “floating” somewhere below the image and there’s no transparency over the image on mouse-over anymore. It still functions in Firefox, though. This plug-in has been a thorn in my side since I installed it.

  • Hmmm…I am “Woo-ite” and it works great for me! It works great for me in all browsers, IE, CHROME, Opera, Firefox, etc..and works well on my tablet and smartphone versions too.

First off, you need to set up where you want the pin-it features to appear. I’ve got mine set to only show up on individual posts with a minimum dimension of 200 x 400 so that I don’t pick up smaller images in my sidebars or thumbs.

I don’t know why you would have to pay a pro to recode… from what you have said in your first couple of sentences it looks to me like you failed to set it up properly…which is really easy to do.

This is by far the easiest and lightest pin-it plugin avail. I’ve tried them all, and this is the only one that is not buggy…and I am plugin heavy on my site, almost 60 plugins..with no conflicts.

I know it can be frustrating when you are new to wordpress as there is a learning curve, just try not to slam another persons work(which is free btw)when in reality you are having a hard time comprehending wordpress basics.

I’m not new and I’m not trying to slam anyone. I was just sharing my experience with the product. I’m glad that it worked so well for you, but I do not share your experience or ease with the plug-in.
