• Hello,

I installed the plugin (version 0.20200917) and I tried to import papers with DOI option but it didn’t worked: all the fields remained empty.

    Hi @beatriceballabio !

It seems that service that provides doi data is currently unavailable.
Please, wait until it will become available again. Unfortunately, I can’t provide you with certain time when it should restart.
If it won’t work by the following day, I’ll try switching to another one.

    Hey @beatriceballabio

I made some changes to the code and server seems to work fine now.
Update to newest version (0.20200925) and try importing again!
Please do notify me if the problem remains.

    Hello!

I’ve tried and the files are imported. However all the data like title, authors etc. are not filled automatically. Just the DOI field is present.

    Hey @beatriceballabio !
Can you please provide the DOI you have issues with? That way I’ll have the ability to properly test what causes the problem you have experienced.

I’ve tried with different DOI, for example 10.1038/d41586-020-01298-5, 10.3389/978-2-88963-289-3, 10.3389/fgene.2019.01160.

    Hey @beatriceballabio !
In the newest update I remade the functions that handle DOI processing, so it should work better and don’t omit any publication fields. But in case it will fail to process some of those fields, they will now be displayed on the page inside “Unprocessed” section of import page, so you can then easily copy-paste that data into the import form.
