Where is support help for this?

    Hi,

This indicates that the WordPress Alternate Cron is enabled on your site. This is a system for running the WordPress scheduler when the normal scheduler doesn’t work.

You can disable this by removing the line shown in the link from wp-config.php

I would recommend contacting your developer/hosts to determine why the Alternate Cron is enabled, as disabling it may break your site.

I’m hosted with Hostgator and they say it’s issue with your plugin?

    Hi Zoro,

That’s not correct information that you’ve received from Hostgator. The appearance of ?doing_wp_cron in a URL is an artefact of your WP install being in “alternative cron” mode. This isn’t selected by plugins, and doesn’t vary from plugin to plugin; it’s a WP-wide setting (and not one that UD goes near). WP alternative cron is described in the WP documentation here, and is activated by a specific define that’s been configured on your site at some point; see here for more info: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Alternative_Cron

    Best wishes,
    David
