Dokan product category

    is it possible to automatically select a product category for vendor when they want to create a new product. The default woocommerce product category taxonomy has some items(category), i want to make a specific category be selected for vendor. I have different vendor roles, hence why i need that so that i can probably hide the category modal on the product upload page, since the preferred category is automatically ticked. Is there any way to go around this.

    By default, the functionality to automatically select a product category for vendors when they create a new product is not available in the Dokan plugin.
