Dokuwiki & WordPress’s 404 Handling

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m having a problem getting dokuwiki to work with wordpress running on the same domain.

    My wordpress blog runs on the domain root, https://www.mydomain.com/
    My dokuwiki runs on https://www.mydomain.com/wiki/

    The problem is, the wiki needs 404 handling to be disabled else, it is unable to create new pages.

    For instance, if I visit https://www.mydomain.com/wiki/whatever.php it gives me the WordPress 404 error template, but I need to have that disabled in the wiki directory in order to use dokuwiki’s “create new page” function.

    Can someone advice? Been looking around the internets for sometime now and I haven’t been able to find a conclusive answer.
