Domain Claim Error

    Hi

    I’m getting this message when I try to verify the domain

    forbidden – There exist other accounts with homepage that conflicts with the homepage of account 43******. Set the parameter ‘overwrite’ to true if you want to take the claim and remove it from these accounts: [email protected]

    My domain is claimed and verified in GMC and GSC.

    i read in some articles that i have to unverify my domain then verify again through the plugin
    I can’t find option to unverify or unclaim the domain in GMC

    Please advise.

    Hey @arianzhang @ppride

    This error generally comes when your domain is already claimed in some other merchant center account.

    If that is the case you need to login into your merchant center account and unclaim the domain from the existing account. And then claim the new account via plugin and it should work fine.

    Also, if you are creating the merchant center account from the first time, this issue should not occur.

    Do let me know your case and I will suggest accordingly.
