Domain images served from

  • Hi, Im very pleased to have stumbled upon this plugin…. having too many issues with Shortpixel.

    Anyway, my question (and I know its really a Cloudflare question) is can we change the domain that images are served from on our site? Like with a CNAME we can serve them from our own domain and not imagedelivery.net?

    Hi @mdotk,

    I’m glad that you are enjoying the plugin. Yes, you can set a custom domain from the plugin. However, only domains that are connected to your Cloudflare account will work. It’s a limitation on Cloudflare.

    Thanks for the reply! I guess that could be a problem if I currently have my DNS with Amazon (Lightsail CDN)?

    Sorry to be a pain, again, I know this is technically not related to your great plugin.

    I’m not sure if you would be able to use a CNAME for the imagedelivery.net domain. But, it doesn’t hurt trying ??
