Domain Key issue

    Hey Guys,

    We are having a problem obtaining the domain key for the site. It does not appear to be throwing any errors. However, it shows us this message saying it is applied but does not get the domain key filled. We use WordFence, white-listed IPs, disabled and checked. Could not rectify the issue, any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Just so you know there are other websites we hosted on the same server that work really well with the plugin.

    Hi,

    It is definitely a security issue. Please temporarily disable WordFence and make sure your WP REST API is enabled and try it again. The following is the error log we see on our side:

    Body {“code”:”rest_forbidden”,”message”:”Sorry, you are not allowed to do that.”,”data”:{“status”:401}}
    Failed, IP 203.57.50.49 blocked in Redis for 2 min

    Thanks for the reply.

    We have disabled the WordFence and checked the site REST API (https://thecreativecollective.com.au//?rest_route=/) which is currently enabled.

    We can now see the message “Applied for Domain Key successfully. Please wait for result. Domain Key will be automatically sent to your WordPress.”

    Waited, however, nothing came through. WordFence disabled and does the error look same on your end please?

    this is the sending information , not receiving

    from my side , it still shows 401 error

    try this

    go to toolbox -> debug setting -> set debug to ON , set log level to advance

    in debug include URI , add 

    /litespeed/v1
/wp-admin/admin.php

    now request the domain key again

    you should see , in debug log , it will shows up a request like

    Hi,

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    Think there should be something going on.

    Followed step by step as you suggested. However, unfortunately, it is not saving and strangely the debug setting is blank when you check back. Then you refresh the page, Debug Settings appear as default. (no saved changes and no console errors too)

    Never had this kind of issue before as we are using the plugin on all other websites and works like charm.

    Let us know if this is not within your scope, please. Checked the server log and other debug errors, there is nothing related to Litespeed.

    okay , try this guide , then try request domain key again , if that still fails , follow the debug log process

    It worked. Should have been the corrupted database when we moved the staging.
