Domain mapping advice please…

    I have 2 domains, domian.com & domain.net.

    domain.net was a temp holiding page, set up as an addon domain with my hositng company, and also used for emails.

    I installed and enabled WP & Domain Mapping plugin, using sub foders as the containers for additional blogs. I set domain.com as the primary domain under domain mapping, and that works fine.

    However, if I add domain.net, when I select it, it takes me to the root folder for the domain (which is where my holding pages were). The only way I can get it to go to domain.com is to use a manual redirect via cpanel. I need to have the website appearing as domain.net, and not the domain.com it currently is.

    Is this happening, as domain.net is set up as an addon domain, and therefore has its own root directory? domain.com is simply set up as a parked domain.

    Any advice would be very helpful.. thanks!

    Anyone…???

    I also thought id be able to select any of the domains to be the primary domain, ie the website everyone would actually see.. but this does not work.

    All of my domains have correct dns entry to the ip of my host domain…
