First I want you to know this is a great plugin. Quick & easy to use. I have a multisite network and it works as planned with it.

    The issue:

The plugin works great until I map a domain to a subdomain within my network. Without the domain mapping, the subdomain displays the password screen correctly, however when it’s mapped with a new domain, it shifts the password entry box to the top-left of the screen, and it also overlays the original wordpress site logo on top of the custom logo (created with Mark Jaquith’s “Login Logo”). I’m not sure why it’s doing this, and need this resolved (if possible) within 48 hours.

    Thanks,
    Marlon

Now I have a very serious issue: I cannot access the homepage front-end.

After the earlier-mentioned issue began (above), I began to have problems with logging in the password. When I entered the correct password, the URL would flicker back & forth between the site domain & a very long “https://example.com/=login-attempt..etc” URL query. After flashing back & forth several times it would eventually say “unknown login key”. I can access the back-end, and I later realized I can access a sub-page directly, but I can’t access the main homepage on the front-end.

This is a serious issue and need this fixed as soon as possible. The site is going live two days from now (with password protection required). I can email you any website/FTP login information you desire. Please help with this. Thank you.

    UPDATE:

I reset the mapped domain back to the default subdomain, then switched it back to the mapped domain and it cleared up the issue. I’m not sure what happened, but I will have to use another password protection plugin in the meantime until this domain mapping issue is resolved. I do however love the simplicity of this plugin and hope that I will be able to use it again one day.
