Domain Mapping plugin question about URLs

  • It has to be a base url (TLD, FQD) or a subdomain.

    You can’t redirect a folder on one server to a folder on another server. It isn’t a limitation of the plugin or wordpress, it;s just how these things work.

    (see Blogger and their recent switch from supporting ftp publishing. Anyone using a folder had to switch to subdomains.)

    Thank you for the quick reply Andrea_r! This makes sense and personally like the sub-domain look of it better anyway.
