    Hi,

I used to be a WordPress user and registered a domain After a year, I transform the domain to Google Domain and cancel the WordPress website. After that, I keep receiving the following error:

“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. ”

I try to send my problem in this forum, and you kept saying that it is the problem of propagation (or a similar term)? However, half a year after I cancel my WordPress account, I still face the same issue. I will be really grateful for any helps on this problem.

It’s working just fine for me now.

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, and you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”

If you still have trouble viewing the site after 24 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache: https://www.refreshyourcache.com/

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

    Hi,

But this happens again and again. For instance, if I share the website to my friends, they will see the same error sometimes. Or after I clear the cache, I can visit it. After several days, the errors will occur again. I have already altered the domain for half a year. So I guess the propagation is already done?

Did you try clearing your local DNS cache? https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

    Hi,

Sure. I try it and I can visit the website. But after several days, I will see the same errors. It seems not the problem with my PC, as other people can not access my website by their machines as well. Also my phone browser can not open the website. I think there maybe some problems in the server?

Now when I flush the local DNS, I can access the website as well. I just try it several minutes ago. But this problem just happens again and again.

Problem solved. When I transfer the domain to google domain. The DNS has a mapping to my old host. After remove the old IP addresses, everything is good now.
