Domain Name

You need to install it in the root – not in the folder called “wordpress”. I think the Installation instructions say: upload the content of the wordpress folder, not itself.

Easier said than done for a newbie. I printed the directions above and got stuck when I couldn’t open the index.php in a text editor. I’d have the free service install it, bit I do want to learn so I can apply to other domains I own.

Is there a good tutorial/book like a WordPress for Dummies out there?

BTW: I uninstalled it because I became so frustrated and was worried I screwed it up!
