Domain Name

I have completed the installation and setup of WordPress running on Windows 2008 Server (My Personal Server) When accessing my WP site I originally typed in the domain as such example.no-ip.org/wordpress
I have since registered a domain name and in the general setting when I change it to the registered domain name https://www.example.com it will not let me see my site so I changed it back to example.no-ip.org/wordpress.

My questions is with my new registered domain name how do I set my site in wordpress so that when I type example.com without /wordpress my site will come up???
