    I currently have a main domain that hosts my art, with a subdomain for my comics. Is it acceptable to leave this setup as is, or do I have to transfer my comic stuff to another domain? If I do this, I’m thinking about making subdomains for each comic I made, but I worry that I have to make, say, 14 wordpress admin logins for each of the subdomains.

    Why do you think you might need to transfer to another domain? You should organize your content in a manner that makes the most sense to you and your visitors. How your content is distributed among domains, sub-domains, sub-folders, categories, parent pages, etc. in any combination is up to you.

    You don’t actually need 14 admin accounts for various sub-domains of a multisite installation. The same admin account can be used for all of them. However, when you navigate from one back end to another you may need to re-login because your current auth cookie doesn’t apply to other sub-domains.
