    Hi

On installing your plugin, I got the following errors:
Notice: Undefined index: dns_challenges in /home/sites/12b/2/2c121c0efb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-letsencrypt-ssl/classes/le-subdir-challenge.php on line 44

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/sites/12b/2/2c121c0efb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-letsencrypt-ssl/classes/le-subdir-challenge.php on line 156

Also, in domain verification, it tells me to add verification files. When I checked, the files were already there but on clicking on Verify HTTP challenge button, I get the following error:
Could not verify HTTP challenges. Please check whether HTTP challenge files uploaded to acme-challenge folder is publicly accessible.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@neha-mogla Please use the RESET option of WP Encryption once and try again. If HTTP domain verification cause issues, We recommend using DNS verification.

Hi, One Challenge was Verified the other was not. This was the error message…

Could not verify HTTP challenges. Please check whether HTTP challenge files uploaded to acme-challenge folder is publicly accessible. Upgrade to PRO version for fully automatic domain verification.

I’m stuck here. Can you help me move forward?

I have the same problem. I’ve used both the HTTP Challenges and the DNS Challenges.
In the first case the error is:
Could not verify HTTP challenges. Please check whether HTTP challenge files uploaded to acme-challenge folder is publicly accessible. Upgrade to PRO version for fully automatic domain verification.

In the second case the error is:
Could not verify DNS records. Please check whether you have added above DNS records perfectly or try again after 5 minutes if you added DNS records just now. Upgrade to PRO version for fully automatic domain verification.

The files do exist in the correct folder (the Verification File link opens it correctly) and I’ve waited hours after adding the TXT DNS record. I’ve already used the Reset option.

    What more can I do?

Should we talk bad about this plugin?
Why is this topic marled as resolved?

@mavenickster First of all, “Should we talk bad about this plugin?” – Threatening is not the right way to request support. Instead of opening your own support thread, You are trying to use a support thread opened by someone else which is already resolved.

Various hosts block acme-challenge folder with purpose i.e., verification bots cannot see the code that you are able to see in browser. So the best solution would be to verify via DNS method. If you have correctly added TXT record, test _acme-challenge.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with correct domain) in dnschecker[dot]org and make sure the added TXT code is showing correctly.

You might be doing something wrong in adding TXT records or your DNS records are not propagated worldwide. DNS updates can take upto 24-48hrs for propagation.
