Domains on separate host

My biggest issue is with the server side of things – what are the stipulations for each server?

That varies by host. You might find instructions specific to your host by searching for their name and domain mapping.

My specific hosts are Bluehost and GoDaddy. The multisite is hosted on Bluehost, the domain that I wish use to map a subdomain is parked on GoDaddy.

The more I look into it, the thing I will need to set up is a CNAME. Does that seem like the direction I should go?
