Domain/Subdomain from WordPress.com

    Hi guys,

    Sorry if this is a silly question but: I am a loving and faithful WordPress.com user (I run 6 or 7 sites there), using advanced customizition options. However, for one of the sites, it’s not enough anymore and I’m planning to use www.ads-software.com because I need to use an e-shop plugin. So far so good.
    But, I can’t move the WordPress.com site to www.ads-software.com because it’s running with the Eventbrite Event theme (.com theme only), so I’m basically thinking about creating a second site via www.ads-software.com that would basically complete the other one with the e-shop. The existing WordPress.com site has its own domain-name (purchased via WordPress.com), so the idea would be to create a subdomain for the second website.
    So now here’s the question: if I purchase the subdomain via my dashboard in WordPress.com, can I map it/use it for the future www.ads-software.com website?
    Thanks a lot – I want to plan this carefully before getting started.
