Donation did not go through due to error in Givewp platform

    A donor tried to pay today but the donation was not showing up in our Stripe account. I reach out to Stripe. They investigated and found the error was from Givewp platform
    Below is the response from Stripe.

Thanks for contacting us, it was a pleasure for me to speak with you over the phone. You mentioned that you received two donations but they are not visible from your Stripe Dashboard.
 
Thanks to the information you provided I was able to find the reason why the connections are not visible. It seems that there was an integration error coming from GiveWP so the payments didn’t go through. You can see this information here:

In this case you would need to get in touch with GiveWP and then your donner can try again.

    Hi,

    Happy to help.

    Anytime there’s a payment error in the front-end, there’s a more detailed message in the back-end under Donations -> Tools -> Logs.
    Click the eye icon next to any recent error message and copy/paste the full error message in your next reply.

    Also, include your system information found in Donations -> Tools -> System Info.

    This will give us more context about the problem.
