    The plugin hasn’t been updated in over two years.

    The support forum is abandoned.

    The author’s own site is running WordPress 3.4.

    Can you get your donation back?

    The only way to get rid of the donate box is to edit the plugin and comment out line 25 of /includes/settings-page.php.

    // require_once 'settings-page/sp-right-column.php';

    Or find a modern plugin to replace it.
