Done with errors on page message

    I installed wordpress locally using apache. When I am in wp-admin, the side menus do not drop down with I click on the drop-down arrows. If I click on the words, the menu will open. At the bottom of the page, there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. It says done with errors. When I click on it, there are .js errors. I updated java on the server, but the problem still exists. Can anyone help?

    What browser are you using?

    Also make sure that file permissions are set correctly on all WordPress files (the server needs read/exec permissions).

    The browser I am using is IE7. As far as permissions, would I set them in the same manner that I would on a local Windows XP machine, or is there a different way to set them?

    Thanks. I read the document in the link and, since I am using windows server, I set the permissions on the user profile that way. I am still having the same problem.
