Just to confirm, my question was also about admin section, not the UI section.

I did some more digging around and found that the address shows up in Donations section, not the Donor section. Once in Donations section you have to select the Time/Date corresponding to the donor.

However, the information shows up for some but not for all. I know with 100% certainty that some donors entered the address in front of me but their address is not showing up. There does not seem to be any correlation of the user (fund type, physical location, amount, date, etc. are all different)

@tylerbfox, @wjstone, and @smuhamma, if you’re willing to share your database, please follow the instructions in this video https://youtu.be/8fYI2WlZSpo and mail me your database. Shoot me a note at https://zatzlabs.com/contact-us/ and I’ll give you an email address to send it to.

P.S. Shouldn’t take you more than 5 or 10 minutes and it could be a huge help.

Quick update: I’ve looked at two databases (thanks SO much for sharing them with me) and I’ve identified the problem, which seems to be common across both instances. I haven’t yet figured out what’s causing the problem, but I will continue working on this as a priority tomorrow.

    Thanks David!

    Hows the status going?

This plug in worked FINE before. Why all these unnecessary changes? This does not work at all. By law, we must get a full name, mailing address and employer/occupation. I have EVERYTHING set correctly but there is NO record at all of ANYTHING other than a name, email and amount. Also, I cannot find where to download the database of all the donors. Why can’t this just be changed back to the first working version? This has been a complete nightmare. Also, why are there SO many different links in the sidebar?? They arent even in order. And now, all donors as actually listed as POSTS. This is very unsecure. I just want to know how to go back to the original working version. There wee NO problems at all with it. None.

    David,
The new betav2 doesn’t fix the donor issue. I did a few test accounts, only shows full name per their paypal information, email, and donation amount. Same as before… I never installed betav1 so unsure if it was working there.

David, Going to send you a backup of what I’m working with

Strange, In test mode, addresses didnt show and now in live mode, I just had someone donate and the address showed. Perhaps its fixed but unsure why the test accounts didnt work

Shouldn’t be a difference. The same code runs in both modes and I did a ton of runs in sandbox mode without any problem. Try a few more sandbox transactions and if it still doesn’t work, email me (I think you have my email address) your log dump (prior to the system information data).

    Thanks!

P.S. PayPal’s IPN is stateless, meaning it could trigger contacts into your system for old transactions and various stages in a transaction. It is possible that some of those old queries might still be alive. Also, transactions that ran prior to 4.0.4b2 in 4.0 mode will be discarded because I moved off of temporary WordPress transients to a permanent audit trail database table and those transients are likely to have evaporated.

    Hey David,
So been getting some donations and its not consistent, sometimes the addresses are there, and other times it resorts to just the email address and the amount. Thoughts?
