I set the Give plugin so Donors did not have to register. Currently plugin in is set in test mode active.

The Donation pages displays correctly in Chrome (states at top Notice: Test mode is enabled. While in test mode no live donations are processed.) the rest of the page shows all fields correctly. When I open the same page in Safari or Firefox the page shows:
Please log in in order to complete your donation.

Is there some setting that I am missing or have entered incorrectly?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Can you provide a link to your form so I can see the problem live?

Hi, I’m seeing a similar problem. In Firefox, Chrome, and and IE, my donation form is prompting users to login, even though the form has “Guest Donations” set to “Enabled”. My form is live (not in test mode) and I’m pretty sure this worked when I originally set it up, but that was several versions of WordPress and Give ago. If I login, the donation form displays correctly. Currently using WP 4.7.3 and Give 1.8.4.

I had the same issue – in all browsers with one of my sites. However the donation form did show to non-logged in users on another of my sites. I compared settings and found that when I switched the display to “radios”, the form displayed to all users. Miraculously, when I then switched back to “buttons” the form continued to display to all users, including users who were not logged in.

Thank you for your reply. I went to my site this morning (in Firefox) to try your suggestion, and found the Donation form was displaying properly, even though I had not yet logged in. Looks like this might be an intermittent problem and tough to track down.

I realized yesterday that the donation page displays in chrome as long I am logged into my WordPress site as admin and testing through it. If If go into the site a user would the donation page requires you to be logged in.

I tried what others have suggested, but it does not work for me.

Problem Solved – after trying many things, while the plugin was up-to-date, I found a small message the the Give Database needed to be updated – when I did this, Donation Page in all browsers started working again.

    Hope this works for others.

Thanks for the update @hgodwin — yes, for everyone else, after updating Give, clicking on that Admin alert should resolve the issue for you. Here’s a quick summary in case you continue to have trouble:

upgrades&give-upgrade=give_v18_upgrades_form_metadata (of course replace “yourwebsite.com” with your URL)

    2) It should be resolved. If not, go into the form directly and go to “Form Display > Registration” and set to “None”.

    3) It should be resolved. If not, then your site is caching the results and caching of all kinds need to be cleared. Object caching is most often the culprit, which is most often provided by your server/host. So make sure you know how to clear your Object Cache. For good measure clear all other types of caching as well, including CDN’s like CloudFlare.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the update, I just wish I had seen the Alert sooner.

Give is an excellent plugin for the Non-profit fund raising community, really appreciate the support provided.

    Thanks again.
