• I wanted a simple drag and drop to capture first, last name, country and mobile number.

Mobile number is not available and when you want to purchase the plugin it is bundled with all their other plugins. I’m sorry, but I am not paying $69 a year for a single site just to capture a phone number.

    AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

  • Hi @vermaakpetrus,

Sorry for the inconvenience that you faced.
If you are looking for a simple drag and drop form to get only the first name, last name, country, and the phone number then this might not be the plugin for you.
User Registration is a registration form plugin where you can create a registration form so that your users can register to your site. The form will require the User Email and User Password field is mandatory to create the form.
If you just want to create a simple contact form then you can go with the contact form plugin which will meet your needs.

However, if your purpose was to create a registration form using the free version of the plugin then we have a Number field that you can use to collect phone numbers from your users.
If you need help in setting it up then please let us know and we will help you to create the registration form. Please don’t rush into taking these harsh decisions.

Regarding the paid plugin, with the amount that you pay for the pro version, it’s not that you only get the Phone Number field. You get a lot of other features and add-ons with the basic plan. So, it is a bit unfair to say that users need to pay $69 to get the Phone Number field.

I would really love to talk to you to clear any confusion that you have and help you if you would co-operate with us.
Finally, I would request you to upgrade the rating because we do not want to be rated negative for any confusion. We are here to help you out.
I hope you will reconsider your decision because your feedback is what values the most.

    Regards!

Forcing us to purchase all the bundled addons is unfair. Why don’t you just sell the advanced field addons which contain the phone field on it’s own instead of bundling other feathers together?

    Hi @vermaakpetrus,

We do not sell add-ons separately. This is not in our policy and from the day we have started going pro, we have followed the bundled approach.

If we start providing it separately now, there would be licensing issues and other issues that users will have to face.
Moreover, we are not forcing anyone to purchase the package. It’s totally up to the users whether they want to subscribe or not. It is our duty to let you know what we offer and how we offer but we have never forced anyone to go with the premium.
If something is not available in the free, we let them know clearly that it’s not available.
We, from our side, have tried to make a starter package and present the offer with the best values. And even if someone finds it expensive, we offer some off so that it would help them if they want to get it.
We have always helped our users with whatever we can do.

    Regards!

To make a policy to sell all your plugins together is your choice, but I and others do not have to accept it. We vote with our wallets after all, and we get to comment and have our say too. Why would I pay more to get other features that I never asked for or would never need or use? That is just foolish. Plain and simple.

    Hi @vermaakpetrus,

We totally understand your opinion. You have the full right to share your thoughts and we respect it. All I wanted was to make sure that you have not passed your judgement due to any kind of confusion.
I see that you have a problem with the packaging and bundling system. I will surely take a note of your feedback. Maybe we might introduce a different schema in the future.

Anyway, have a great day. ??
    Regards!
