very elegant, complete and configurable contact form

  • So sorry, I misinterpreted the silence of a few days of CREATIVE-SOLUTIONS.NET. The plugin is excellent, probably among the best designed of its kind. In any case, I haven’t found a contact form more adapted to my needs than this one. The designers provided a quick response to my problems. The pro extension no longer causes any errors with version 5.5.1 of wordpress. I thank them warmly and apologize again for my comment based on a false first impression. In other words, and even if I’m probably too bad to advise anything to anyone, I strongly recommend the acquisition of this plugin to those who are looking for an elegant, very complete and easily configurable contact form.

    I bought this plugin 1 week ago. It causes critical errors with the wordpress core. Here are the error messages appearing after its installation :

    The plugin generated 4580 unexpected output characters when activated. If you notice already sent headers, problems with your syndication feeds or other issues, try disabling or removing this plugin.

    3 critical problems :

    • An active PHP session has been created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with the REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.
    • The API REST request failed due to an error. Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed).
    • The loopback request on your site has failed, which means that the features that rely on these requests are currently not working as they should. Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed).

    1 recommended improvement :

    • impossible to confirm if the wp_version_check() filter is available.

    I specify to have disabled my other plugins and to have no error reported without this one (site in good health and validated by W3C)

    Worse for me, CREATIVE-SOLUTIONS.NET does not honor its commitments, not responding to my request for a refund, even though they offer a 30-day money back guarantee (they answered me once very quickly to ask me for details about the problem I encountered, which I did, then nothing). Moreover, the promotions proposed on their site are false. The time counter they display only serves to bait the customer. It systematically and immediately restarts once it reaches zero. In my opinion, this is a dishonest business. So I advise you not to buy anything from CREATIVE-SOLUTIONS.NET !

    We did not work for one week, that is why I answered you with some delay!

    This plugin is in the WP Plugins directory for more than 7 years, has about 100.000 downloads, and 3000+ active installs.

    During this years nobody reports such issue.
    And this is not a critical errors, like you mention in your review, they are just a warnings, and can be fixed in 3 minutes.

    Also, when you wrote “wordpress recommends to remove this plugin“, that is not correct! It just shows a standard message, saying “try disabling or removing this plugin.”.

    So all the issues is related to your site ONLY, not critical, and can be fixed in 3 minutes.

    The cURL error 28: issues are not related to CFG, cause CFG does not use cURL library!

    I wrote you email and explained everything. That is strange that you are not answering.

    With regards to refunds, we always provide 30 days money back guarantee. So jkust6 ask for it, and not write such not fair reviews.

    Dear customer,

    You didn’t mention, that the messages and warnings you mentioned, are under Site Health dashboard.

    Indeed, in Business version only, it was generating message: “The plugin generated 4523 characters of unexpected output during activation…”.
    The issue has ben fixed.

    The other issues you have reported are under the Site Health dashboard.
    They are related to session_start(); command. WordPress does not suggest using sessions in their native way.
    I’ve changed the way CFG stores sessions data, and completely removed the session_start(); command(for Business version, for now).
    Site Health shows no errors or warnings.

    I’ve changed the version for CFG Business to 10.0.2

    Please make update, and confirm, that your site also generates no warnings.
