Don’t download images url when importing the product

I understand that you’d like to import products without downloading images and you do not want to use an additional plugin.

The images for your products can’t be hosted on a different server. What you can do is use a CDN to deliver them if you’re looking to offload those resources.

Ideally, you would upload all the images into your media library and then just specify the filename in your CSV document. This will cause the already uploaded images to be linked to the respective products. If you specify a URL for an image, that image will be downloaded to your media library regardless of whether you have a copy in there or not.

If you leave the Images column in the CSV blank, then no image will be imported for the product.

Different functionality is not possible without using an additional plugin or customizing the code.

hello my site get 9GB of images ! I read a CSV with automatic code and they download all the imagenes 171.000 images and collapse the server… its still not posibly just link a image ?
