    Hi,

Indeed, only admins and agents can create tickets through the admin. Clients will have to create ticket through the front-end.

The plugin should have automatically created a tickets list and ticket submission pages. Those are the pages that you need to use. The login/registration forms will appear automatically if needed.

We do not log into clients sites on the free support. This is only for priority support (paid users).

However, I’m pretty sure your problem is related to Awesome Support’s settings. Please go to Tickets > Settings > Advanced and make sure nothing is selected as the custom login/registration page.

    Hi Julien,

Thanks for your reply. Again i have a question if deselect everything on advanced tab then how can i get login and register form.

I have just disable all options so you can check now page on my client’s website. but what about for Custom Login / Registration Page? i have select None or submit ticket page.

Also is there any paid plugin for awesome support ?
    Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Chirag

As I said in my first message, the login / registration form will be displayed automatically. I can see it’s the case now. The style however is broken. Please head over to Tickets > Settings > Style and hit the save button. You should be good after that.

As explained in the settings page itself, right under the custom login option, this is to be used only if you know how to create your own custom long page.

    Hi Julien,

Yes its working now. Thanks you very much for that. one last question to you for that. when i login and going to submit ticket i get this error “Sorry, support team members cannot submit tickets from here. If you need to open a ticket, please go to your admin panel or click here to open a new ticket.” and its not showing editor at all.

I have given support user to create ticket , edit ticket and close ticket to do that. i have used plugin for that “User Role Editor”

    Thanks,
    Chirag

Hi there we have just added the awesome support plugin to our site (replacing a different support tool). So far your plugin looks a much better solution except that some users can add a ticket and others cannot. Those who cannot (are already logged into the site) do not see a registration form on the page either – just a message to say they cannot submit a ticket – so basically for them it is of no use at all.

The majority of our users are subscribers as that is the default when they join but those who shop with us move up-to customer and then we have editors and some other roles types too. I added the 5 capabilities listed in your FAQ to the subscriber role but are you saying I need to go and repeat that process for all the different role types including any new ones that we may add in the future?

I’m guessing there is supposed to be a way for those who do not have the capability to submit a ticket to register on the support page but I have not seen that working – nor can I get it to work (it does show the registration form when you are logged out). Any help greatly appreciated.
