Don't have permission

  • In working through James Huff’s reply regarding the same problem a few months ago, I still could not get past the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” message.
    WordPress has been reinstalled several times, I deleted bbPress, and looked through the support ideas from years ago. Nothing works.
    When I log in, the site is there with the black WordPress row. In selecting Dashboard, the message comes up. I can slip past it by choosing a menu item other than Dashboard.
    I changed the php line as recommended by James Huff.
    Now what?
